World Flight 2008 - December 2007 - January 2008

AboutFlightplanScreenshots

World Flight 2008 was the first world flight event ogranized by Drzewiecki Design Air Transport. It started in December 2007 and finished in January 2008. 15 flights were made during that event. Our plane, with the rest of the group, departe from Warsaw Okecie EPWA airport and continued via Stockholm, Bergen, Reykjavik, Sarasota, New Orleans, Dallas, Albuquerque, Los Angeles, Honolulu, (Midway Island), Tokyo, Khabarowsk, Norilsk, Yekatirinburg and Moscow. The whole journey took place online in Vatsim network. Similar flights have been organized by other airlines in the past but they usually used big machines such as Boeing 747/767/777 or Airbus 340/330. Our project was more difficult due to range and route limitations caused by a size of our aircraft. Each flight was booked in Eurobook system so you can easly check how they were actually flown (go to Flights section). For more detailed flightplan check Flightplan and don't forget to look at the Screenshots!
